Ben 10 Omniverse - Omni-kit Heatblast Review

This is 1 of 4 Omni-kit build figures there are three others available (shown below). This one I built together with my six year old son.

Contents:- The kit contains 27 piece parts to assemble and a skeleton like body. There are 21 stickers in this set. The build time ranges from 25 - 40 minutes. (stickers 10-15mins and assembly 15-25mins depending on skill level - this kit has a 4+ age rating)

Packaging:- Its a huge box, a lot of colour, the usual Ben 10 logo. Very appealing. Well it drew me in anyway. I picked this up for a bargain price - Under £5 - RRP around £12. The concept of a build kit is good, my boy described the Ben 10 figure as cool.

Construction:- The pieces were quite easy to remove and the instructions were easy to follow they have a step by step build guide along with the sticker guide.

Chest and back parts 1st

 Followed by the head

 Finally the limbs

As i said i built this with my 6 year old, He described the difficulty as easy to assemble "Not tricky" Kit although i did relay the building instructions to him. He said  the stickers were tricky and needed some help.

Finished figure:- (Bad points) The figure finishes at only 6 inches tall despite the huge box packaging. The 1st thing i noticed is thats its a real shame there isn't much to the back of the figure. The backs of the legs and arms have no covering parts so the original figure skellington is exposed.

Saying that about the back isnt quite the end of the bad news the only other minor moan i have about it is that some of the piece parts went together pretty loosely and can drop apart just through simple arm and leg movement (despite the no scissors, glue or paint described on the box) this seems much better suited to being a display piece.

Finished figure:- (Good points) This guy does look pretty great from the front and sides the detail is good the stickers on Heatblast really bring him to life. He has a lot of movement for a kit build, 16 points of articulation. 2-Head/Neck, 3+3 each arm 3+3 legs, 2- Hip movement/Top of legs.

Additionally:-  He can be posed really well with the articulation and moving parts he has (See below).

Heatblast has Swivel joints at the top of the legs and ball joints on the hands and feet. The other joints are simple back and forth motion (Elbows neck, head & knees.)

Thanks for checking out my review, Stay tuned to AFChat 4 more to come.
